June Volbright, 83, of Havre died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes.
Crema-tion has taken place. Burial will be held prior to the service at 10 a.m. at the Highland Cemetery. Her memorial service with Eastern Star presentation will be 10:30
a.m. Aug. 15 at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Zoe Coutts officiating. A fellowship luncheon will be held immediately after the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.
June was born April 30, 1922, in Malta to Albert E. and Alma (Sterns) Young. She was raised and educated in Malta and graduated from Malta High School. She then went on to attend business school in Seattle, Wash. She worked in the business offices of two large Seattle-based businesses.
On March 17, 1967, she married Vernon Volbright in Havre. The couple made their home in Havre. June was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and served as the grand marshal for the order for the state of Montana. June was also a life member of the VFW Auxiliary. June was a wonderful seamstress and loved to travel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon B. Volbright of Havre; son, Garth Volbright of Havre; two grandchildren; seven nephews, and 11 nieces.
Memorials in June's honor may be made to First Presbyterian Church.
Services and arrangements have been entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
