Lucas James Floren, 21, of Whitefish and formerly of Havre died of a motorcycle accident Saturday, July 30, 2005, between Kalispell and Whitefish.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Fifth Avenue Christian Church with burial following in the Calvary Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
Lucas was born Dec. 10, 1983, in Havre and graduated from Havre High School.
Luke entered the U.S. Marine Corps and graduated in the honor platoon in San Diego, Calif. He worked as an electrician in Florida, Havre, and most recently in Kalispell.
Luke enjoyed motorcycling, canoeing, fishing and playing with his nieces and nephews.
Luke was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Evle Floren of Havre and Duane Lachelt of Wyoming.
Survivors include his father, Raymond (Gloria) Floren of Havre; mother, Kay MacKenzie of Key Largo, Fla .; grandparents, Lora MacKenzie Lachelt of Whitefish, Warren and Doreen Gault of Havre; half-brother, Michael Floren of Key Largo, Fla .; stepbrother, Timothy (Daneille) Munyan of Havre; stepsisters, Jamie (Andy) Smith of Havre, Paula (Nick) Harada of Laurel; nephews, Tate Munyan and Anthony Smith, both of Havre; nieces, Kirstine Christian of Great Falls, Kate and Mariah Smith and Jordan Munyan, all of Havre; uncles; Ric (Denise) Floren, Robert (Vonda) Floren, all of Havre, Rod Floren of Kalispell, Greg (Melissa) Erickson, Dale (Debbie) Erickson and Kenny Erickson, all of Havre; aunts, Karen (Ken) Begalow of Whitefish, Glenda (Monda) Wolverton of Kalispell; great-uncles, Bob (Eileen) Rasmussen of Harlem and Wally Floren of Missoula; many great-uncles and great-aunts; and several cousins.
