NANCY JENDRO obituary

HARLEM - Nancy L. Jendro, 76, of Havre, formerly of Harlem, died Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at Northern Montana Care Center due to kidney failure.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 6 p.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Chinook.

Nancy was born July 18, 1929, in Beach, N.D., to Vernon and

Ina (Blue) Osterloth. She attended a country grade school in Wibaux and high school in Glendive.

Nancy married Irving Jendro on June 6, 1948, in Glendive. They farmed near Wibaux until moving to Harlem in 1952. Nancy worked as a waitress for many years in Wally's Caf and Deb's Diner in Harlem. She was working at the EZ Mart up until her health failed in 2000.

Nancy enjoyed traveling, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. She and Irving enjoyed watching Lawrence Welk on TV every Saturday evening. Nancy and Irving moved to Havre in 2001 to be closer to the hospital for dialysis.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; one brother; grandsons, Robin Morin and Casey Jendro; and son, Kenneth in 1999.

Survivors include her husband, Irving Jendro in Havre; sons, Robert (Marla) Jendro of Zurich, Mike Jendro of Denver, Colo., and Ron (Tami) Jendro of Helena; daughters, Sandy (Oscar) Morin of Harlem, Charlotte (Joe) Brummer of Chinook and Susan (Steve) Friede of Havre; 17 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be sent to the Northern Montana Dialysis Unit in Havre.
