Jerold "Bud" Eugene Albertson, 76, of Havre died Saturday, July 24, 2005, at his residence of natural causes.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fifth Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Rowlie Hutton officiating. Interment of the ashes will take
place at Highland Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at Fifth Avenue Christian Church immediately following the interment.
Jerold was born Dec. 15, 1928, in Havre to Jerry and Leola (Henderson) Albertson. Jerold grew up in Havre and attended the public schools.
He married Rhoda (Reite) on Sept. 17, 1950, in Havre. Jerold worked for the Burlington Northern Railway starting in 1948. He retired in 1991 as a conductor. He later was a partner with his wife, Rhoda, and son and daughter-in-law Brett and Julie Albertson in Altec Graphics.
Jerold loved gardening and hunting. He enjoyed having coffee with his friends every morning and being a KB. He was always fixing things around the house. He was a dedicated union member for 30 years. He was an Eagle member, director of Bear Paw Credit Union, president of Havre High School Boosters Club and a member of the Fifth Avenue Christian Church.
Jerold was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Rhonda Nordgulen.
Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Albertson of Havre; sons, Kennith "Butch" (Polly) Albertson of Havre; Brett (Julie) Albertson of Bozeman; daughter, Mardy Rae Robinson of Havre; sister, Geradine (Warren) Taylor of Havre; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Jerold's honor may be made to Bear Paw Hospice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
