COON RAPIDS, Minn. - Trudy E. Brown, 52, of Coon Rapids, Minn., died on Monday, July 18, 2005, due to a hemorrhage she suffered Sunday while boating with her grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 18500 County Road 101, Maple Grove, Minn. Interment will be at Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at church.
Trudy was born in Havre on June 3, 1953, to Lawrence and Gertrude Branden. She attended Havre schools and earned her GED in Havre. She attended Northern Montana College and earned a degree in business. She worked in David Rice's law office.
Trudy married Roy Robert Brown on Sept. 9, 1972, at First Lutheran Church in Havre. They later divorced.
They moved Aug. 25, 1992, to Ham Lake, Minn. She moved to Coon Rapids about 2000 and worked as a legal assistant for a lawyer there.
Trudy was a proud member of the "Red Hot Mamas" of the Red Hat Society. She was a 4-H leader while in Havre.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Gertrude Branden.
Survivors include her sons, Matthew (MaRyah), Joshua (Sara), and Timothy; brother, James (Janet) Branden; sisters, Donna (Dennis) Grant and Beverly Williams; and many other loving relatives and friends.
Memorials may be made to The Crossings at Woodland Fellowship.
