RICKIE KNUDSON obituary

HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas - Rickie Lynn Knudson, 40, a captain in the Texas National Guard, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005, in Burnet, Texas.

A funeral service was held Tuesday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel in Harker Heights, Texas, with cremation to follow. A memorial service will

be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church in Havre, with a luncheon to follow at the Eagles Club.

Rickie was born Nov. 22, 1964, in Havre. He attended Havre schools and graduated from Havre High School in 1983. After graduating, he joined the U.S. Army. During his tour of duty, he spent two years in Germany.

Upon his discharge, Rickie made his home in Texas. At the time of his death, he was employed in the field of information technology for the National Guard at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas.

Survivors include his wife, Sharie of Harker Heights; sons, Evan and Ryan of Harker Heights; parents, Dave and Donna (Kampf) Knudson of Havre and Shirley (Gomke) Hensley of Havre; sisters, Danette (Craig) Butterfield of Salem, Ore., and Vickie (Kevin) Summers of San Antonio, Texas; brothers, Chad Knudson of Havre and Jamie Thole of Billings; grandmother, Margaret (Kampf) Matulka of Havre.
