Floyd K. Landsiedel, 77, of Havre died Thursday, July 14, 2005, at the Northern Montana Care Center of natural causes.
At his request, no services are being held. Floyd was buried at the Highland Cemetery in Havre.
Floyd was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Missoula to Peter and Emma (Hochaulter) Landsiedel. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during World War II until his honorable discharge in 1946.
He married Bonita Peach and the couple later divorced. He then married Marion Cora July 2, 1981.
Floyd worked for the Great Northern Railway beginning in 1955. He worked as an electrician helper and retired in 1990 after 35 years.
Floyd was a very generous person who enjoyed helping others. He was very dedicated to his work. He enjoyed model trains and had one in his basement for years. Floyd was very patriotic. He joined the VFW in 1954 and was a paid-up member for life. He collected key chains and had a collection of more than 800.
He was preceded in death by his parents; second wife, Marion; and many brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his daughter, Peggy Aakre of Fort Peck; son, Rick Landsiedel of Federal Way, Wash.; two grandchildren; brother, Harry Landsiedel of Deer Lodge; and sister, Frieda Layer of Seattle, Wash.
Memorials in Floyd's honor may be made to the Northern Montana Care Center.
Arrangements were entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
