DEAN CLAYBORN obituary

Dean Russell Clayborn, 59, of Havre died Monday, May 30, 2005, at the Clayborn farm from a tractor accident.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the Vets Club immediately after the service.

Interment of the cremated remains will be held at the Clayborn farm.

Dean was born in Havre on Aug. 4, 1945, to Margaret (Flatness) and Harold Clayborn. Dean graduated from Havre High School in 1965.

On Aug. 6, 1966, he married Lorraine Vosen. They had two sons, Kenny and Kevin. The couple later divorced.

Dean then married Sis Gable and they had one daughter, Deana Clayborn. The couple later divorced.

Dean loved his horses and enjoyed helping people. In 2005, he was awarded a donor of the year award by the Hospitalized Veterans Association. He never turned anyone away and did what he could to help everyone. Dean was also a good mechanic and spent his time working on the farm and fixing cars and farm machinery. He was a good worker who worked for various oil rigs, Heltne's Service Station, Buttrey's and Hi-Line Dodge. Dean was also a member of the National Guard.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Sam Clayborn, and brothers Dale and Larry Clayborn.

Survivors include his mother, Margaret (Flatness) Golie at the family farm south of Havre; brother, Neal (Audrey) Clayborn of south Havre; step-brother, Bernie Golie of south Havre; sons, Kenneth Beck of Kremlin and Kevin Beck of Preston, Idaho; daughter, Deana Clayborn of Havre; grandchildren, Kadeen, Halsten, Tabitha, Katie and Dexter; nephews, Willis Clayborn of Anchorage, Alaska, and Harvey (Theresa) Herrig of Havre; nieces, Susie Clayborn of Havre and Adrienne (Shawn) Love of Laredo; and good friends Dick McLean, Paul Seabey and longtime buddy Ed Nystrom.

Services and arrangements are entrusted to Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
