JOSHUA BENNETT obituary

Joshua Allen Bennett, 30, died Monday, May 23, 2005, at his residence in Havre.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. today at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ebel officiating. Graveside service to follow at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship

luncheon will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Church following the memorial service.

Joshua was born June 1, 1974, in Havre to Gary and Sandy Bennett. He attended special education classes at the Havre Public Schools. He graduated from CM Russell High School in Great Falls in 1993. After graduation, he worked for the Great Falls Tribune, Pepsi Cola, the Great Falls Cemetery, landscaping, and for the World Wide Press of Great Falls.

He married Margaret Dusek on Dec. 6, 1996. They were divorced in March 2005.

Joshua was a fan of Pantera and rock music of all kinds. He was a devoted NASCAR fan and favored Ryan Neuman. He enjoyed drag racing with his family in Lewistown, Spokane, Wash., Medicine Hat, Alberta, and Calgary, Alberta. He wrestled AAU, junior high, Havre High School varsity, and CMR varsity his senior year. He enjoyed video car games of all kinds. He loved visiting with family and his many friends and cousins. He was recently studying to be a locksmith.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Sandy Bennett of Havre; brothers, Brion (Maialisa) Bennett of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Jason Bennett of Helena; grandparents, Jack and Fern Harding of Galesburg, Ill .; stepsons, Dustin and Shawn Dusek of Great Falls; stepdaughter, Jimi of Great Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Memorials may be made to any drug- and alcohol-awareness programs or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Services and arrangements are entrusted to Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
