ELAINE STOKES obituary

S. Elaine Nelson Stokes, 70, of Havre, died Jan. 28, 2005, in a Boston hospital from complications following surgery.

Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date in the family plot in Nova Scotia.

Elaine was born on April 30, 1935, to Rupert and Eileen Nelson.

A memorial service will be held for Elaine on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church in Havre. A luncheon will immediately follow the service in the fellowship hall.
