ANN SMITH obituary

Ann R. Smith, 34, of Chinook died Monday, May 2, 2005, at Northern Montana Hospital due to heart-related complications.

A funeral service will be Friday at 9 a.m. in St. Jude's Catholic Church with burial following in the Highland Cemetery.

Ann was born on

June 30,

1970, in Spokane, Wash., to Robert D. Thole and Shirley D. Kraft. She attended schools in Havre. She graduated from Havre High School in 1988 and attended Northern Montana College. Ann was an Eagles member in Havre for 16 years. She worked in the propane business, sold cell phones in Kalispell, worked in a grocery store, motels, and bartended in Bigfork and Chinook.

Ann was a devoted dog lover.

She married Rod Smith on Aug. 31, 1997, in Bigfork.

Ann is survived by her parents, Robert D. Thole and Shirley D. Gorman, both of Havre; husband, Rod Smith, and son, Samuel D. Smith, both of Chinook; sister, Arlycs Wing of Bellevue, Wash .; brothers, Michael Thole of Shelby, Doug Thole of Bigfork and John Thole of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be sent to the Chinook Paws.
