CHINOOK - Wayne S. Bosch, 69, died Tuesday, Apri1 26, 2005, at Northern Montana Hospital in Havre.
A funeral service will be Monday at 2 p.m. in Zion Lutheran Church in Chinook. Burial will follow in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery.
Wayne was born on Sept. 27, 1935, to Ella (Friede) and Julius Bosch at Zurich. He was raised on the family ranch and was educated in rural and Chinook schools. He spent his early years working on the family ranch and also for neighbors.
In August of 1960, he married Rhoda Donis. He continued to work on ranches and was employed for a time at Speer Implement Co. in Chinook.
In May of 1968 Wayne went to work for Nick Faber south of Chinook and this is where he spent the rest of his life. Wayne loved his work on the ranch and everything to do with ranching. He had dreamed of working in the Bear Paws and appreciated their beauty every day.
Wayne was the father of three sons: Wayne Allan, Howard and Jeffrey. He was proud of his sons and he enjoyed fishing and hunting with them. Another pastime he enjoyed was catching rattlesnakes with the boys.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Melvin, Marvin, and Ralph; a sister, Frances Savage; and son, Wayne Allan. Survivors include his wife, Rhoda, of 44 years; sons, Howard of Ortonville, Mich., and Jeffrey of Havre; a sister, Fern (Bob) Holmes of Chinook; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorials may be given to the Blaine County ambulance. Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
