LOIS DONEY obituary

Lois "Dolly" A. Doney, 52, died on Saturday, April 23, 2005, after a 10-month battle with cancer.

Service will be held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in Chinook. A Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thursday. A funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. on Friday.

She was born Dec. 19, 1952, in Fort Belknap to George and Geraldine Doney. Lois graduated from the nursing program at Northern Montana College in 1984 and was a nurse for the last 21 years. Lois worked for for Riverview Care Center from 1994 to 2005.

Family was the most important thing in life to her. She was a loving mother, sister, grandma, aunt, daughter and friend.

She is preceded in death by her father, George H. Doney; and a brother, Anthony "Chuck" James Doney.

Lois is survived by a daughter, Gerri (Bret) Dickey of Spokane, Wash.; a son, Joseph (Erika LaForest) Doney of Vancouver, Wash.; brothers, George "Dusty" (Madge) Doney of Great Falls, , Albert "Robin" (Roxanna) Doney of Billings, Gerald "Jerry Joe" (Lynn) Doney of Great Falls, Francis "Frisco" Doney of Harlem; sisters, Lila Doney (Charlie) Martell of Wolf Point, and Ilene Doney St. Marks (Nick Giardina) of Havre; her mother, Geraldine J. Doney of Harlem; a grandson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
