DELORES SKAARER obituary

BILLINGS - Delores Fritz Skaarer, of Bilings, formerly of Havre, died Monday, April 18, 2005.

A memorial service is planned for 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Johns Lutheran Home in Billings.

Delores was born Oct. 6, 1922, to Frank and Celestine Fritz.

Delores married

Dale "Red" Skaarer in

June of 1946. They lived most of their lives in Fargo, N.D., Billings and Havre. Dale preceded her in death in 1977. Delores

spent many years working for J.C. Penney and Herberger's department stores. Her home and family were her life. As a mother and homemaker, she was the best.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Dale "Red" Skaarer; brothers, Hank and Ray; sisters, Marie, Dorothy and Barbara; and special friend, Fred Grieve.

Survivors include her son, Rick (Katie) Skaarer; daughter, Donna (Bob); five grandchildren; one great-grandson; sisters, Madelyn, Ann and Eileen; brothers, Matt, John, Bud and Larry; and her pet turtle, Binky, who has been adopted after several fun years at the nursing home.

She wanted a very special thank you given to all of her angels at St. Johns Nursing Home. Her buddy Anthony will always be in her heart.
