Helen (Nellie) Walsh Goligoski, 95, of Havre died Friday, March 11, 2005, in her city of origin, Havre.

Helen was born March 21, 1910, in Havre to Richard P. and Josephine (Waldrip)

Walsh. She was raised and educated in Havre, attending St. Jude's School and graduating from Havre High School. She furthered her education by attending Sacred Heart School of Nursing and completed her registered nurses training.

She married Urban L. Goligoski in Havre, and they had two children. Helen did private-duty nursing for several years, relieving at the same time as night supervisor at the Havre hospital. She was office nurse for a couple of years until World War II, when she was an instructor at Sacred Heart Hospital for one year. After one month in the Clark County Health Department, she became ill and returned home. She again became a private-duty nurse. Helen enjoyed her family, reading and sewing.
