VIOLA M. GALLUS obituary

CHINOOK - Viola M. (Simenson) Gallus, 91, a homemaker, died of natural causes Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, at her home in Chinook.

A funeral Mass will be today at 11 a.m. in St. Gabriel's Catholic Church, with burial following in Kuper Memorial Cemetery.

Viola was born Nov. 12, 1913, to Simeon O. and Anna J. (Ring) Simenson in Minnehaha County, S.D. She was raised in Pipestone, Minn., where she attended school.

Viola attended St. Olaf's College in St. Paul, Minn., where she met Edward J. Gallus, who was attending dental school at the University of Minnesota. They were married in Minneapolis, Minn....
