MAXINE CROWDER obituary

BILLINGS - Maxine Crowder, 74, formerly of Havre, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2005, at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings.

Maxine was born Dec. 17, 1930, in Bowbells, N.D., and grew up in Glasgow. She married James Curtis Crowder in 1949. He died in 1988.

Nothing pleased Maxine more than having a fishing pole in one hand and a Diet Coke in the other and heading down to the local stream or river to do some fishing with her dogs in tow.

Maxine is survived by two sons, James Jay (Bonnie) Crowder of Boise, Idaho, and Dennis Dean (Jane) Crowder of Billings; two daughters, Meridee Patterson of Billings and Debra Lynn Crowder (fiance Stephen Lockwood) of Billings; a brother, Jim (Lois) McIntyre of Glasgow; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
