ROBERT MONTALBETTI SR. obituary

Robert James Montalbetti Sr. died at his home on Dec. 2, 2004, of natural causes.

A memorial service was held at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home in Havre today at 10 a.m.

Robert was born in Aug. 23, 1936, at Great Falls, where he grew up on the family farm. When he was 18 he joined the U.S. Navy and served in Korea. Robert was honorably discharged from the service in San Diego, where he worked as a firefighter until moving back to Montana.

Here he started a 30-plus-year career in the construction/truck driving business for Havre Ready Mix. Robert retired in 1998 and pursued his other loves, such as fishing, camping, model construction, landscaping and being with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Huestis, and numerous sons, daughters and grandchildren.
