MARY HINRICKS obituary

Mary Elizabeth Hinrichs, 81, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at the Big Sandy Medical Center of natural causes.

Viewing will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel with

Ila McClenahan officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will follow at the Eagles Club immediately after the graveside service.

Mary was born July 23, 1923, in Havre to Calvin J. and Ethel (Kimsey Hall) Hall. Mary and her family moved north of Chinook, where she grew up on the family farm. As the

oldest of 13 children, she helped with chores and attended country schools and graduated from Chinook High School. Mary then went into the Cadet Nurse Corps and was trained as a licensed nurse practitioner.

She married Robert Blake and had two children William and Roberta. They later divorced.

Mary married Fernand Hinrichs on April 20, 1965, at Van Orsdel Methodist Church in Havre. They had one son, Max.

Mary was an excellent cook. She loved to bake, listen to music and dance. She played the organ and had a great love of animals. Mary was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and three brothers.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Fernand Hinrichs, of Havre; son, Bill Blake of Havre; daughter, Roberta Reinke of Evans, Colo.; son, Max Hinrichs of Havre; sisters, Alice Nivins of Havre, Eleanor Wilson of Great Falls, Rosella Annis of Chinook, Katherine Rudolph of Chinook and Evelyn Smith of Chinook; brothers, Ira Hall of Chinook and Ray Hall of Chicago Ill.; her companion, Chico; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Mary's honor may be made to a memorial of one's choice.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
