TANNER SHORTMAN obituary

LODGE POLE - Tanner Emerson Lee Shortman, 3 months, died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at the Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A wake service will be Tuesday night at his the residence of his grandparent Curtis Snell in Lodge Pole. A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesdayat Medicine Bear Lodge in Lodge Pole with burial in the Lodge Pole Cemetery.

Tanner was born Aug. 2, 2004, at Havre to Bruce Shortman and Velvet Weatherwax. He had many health problems and was transferred to the Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City. Tanner was a fighter and put up a valiant battle for 3 months and 22 days. He touched many lives in his short time.

Survivors include his parents, Bruce Shortman and Velvet Weatherwax of Cloquet, Minn.; sisters, Rhyia Skunk Cap of Cloquet, Minn., Zoey Hall of Heart Butte; brothers, Raymond Skunk Cap of Cloquet, Minn., Canaan Means Shortman of Chinook; maternal grandparents, Patty Comes At Night of Whitefish and Kenny Weatherwax of Browning; paternal grandparent, Curtis Snell of Lodge Pole; numerous great-grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Adams Funeral Home of Malta is in charge of arrangements.
