Donna Jean Wilson, 72, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Big Sky Care Center in Helena.
A celebration of her life will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church in Havre on Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. and in Colorado Springs Colorado on Nov. 27, 2004 at 11 a.m.
Donna was born on Aug. 20, 1932, to Wendall and Mary Winter of Kremlin. She was a Hi-Line girl, attending grade school and high school in the Kremlin school district. She graduated from Northern Montana College with a degree in nursing.
Donna met and later married a young sailor, Murrell Somers Wilson of Whitefish. Their marriage of 31 years was blessed with three children, Dennis,
Richard and Darla each born during their years of service in the U.S. Navy. After retirement, the Wilson family settled in Colorado Springs, Colo., where they lived until Murrell's death in 1984. A year later, Donna returned to Montana and lived out the rest of her life close to family and friends.
Donna lived her life surrounded by family and friends, receiving many letters, visits and calls from those she loved through the years. Her faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord kept her strong through many difficult days and gave her strength as she passed from this life into life eternal.
Donna was preceded in death by her father and mother, Wendall and Mary Winter; son, Richard Wilson; and husband, Murrell Somers Wilson.
Survivors include her sister, Beverly Grass of Box Elder; brother, Allen Winter of Shelby; son, Dennis (Kathy) of Houston, Texas; daughter, Darla (George) of Helena; stepson, Glen (Barb) Tomoson of Alberta, Minn.; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been completed by Helena Funeral Chapel.
