KATHRYN ENGELHARDT obituary

Kathryn Kraft Engelhardt, 93, died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004, at her son's residence of natural causes.

Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2005.

Kathryn was born on Dec. 2, 1910, to Stephen

and Francis (Fisher) Kraft in Linton, N.D.

The family lived in Strasburg, N.D., where she attended school. Kathryn was the only child of 12 siblings to graduate from high school.

On June 28, 1938, she married Martin L. Engelhardt and resided in St. Paul, Minn. In 1944, the couple moved to Havre. Martin and Kathryn celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1998.

Kathryn was a devout Catholic, a Catholic Daughter and a member of St. Jude's Catholic Church.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and baking pies.

Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Martin in 1998; six brothers; and five sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Patti (Bill) Morgan of Spokane, Wash.; sons, Stephen Engelhardt of Havre and Mel (Pat) Engelhardt of Coos Bay, Ore.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Memorials in her honor may be made to Saddle Butte Memorial Garden and Park, 2620 34th St. S.E., Havre, MT 59501
