KALISPELL - Ada L. Groven, 87, died Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2004, at Brendan House in Kalispell.
A private memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Glacier Church, 690 Grandview Drive, with the Rev. Hal Irvine officiating.
Ada was born on April 9, 1917, in King to Howard Roy and mary Catherine (Weston) Cady. The family homesteaded north of Joplin on the Canadian line, farming and raising cattle.
Ada spent her retirement years caring and sharing unselfishly with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ada was of the Lutheran faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Roger Cain; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; five brothers; and two sisters.
Survivors include her children, Jean (Kenneth) Buchholz of Kalispell and Don (Julie) Groven of Havre; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Ella Rowin of Havre; brother, Howard Cady of Libby; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson Mortuary & Crematory.
