Molly B. Nicholson, 86, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2004, at Northern Montana Hospital of natural causes.
Her funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Holland & Bonine Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at
the Highland Cemetery.
Molly was born in Hershey, Nebraska to Balzer and Christine Brazer on June 14, 1918. She had seven brothers and four sisters. They grew up on their ranch in Deadwood, South Dakota. In 1941 Molly was married to Harold Wayne Nicholson. Together they had six children, four boys and two girls. They briefly lived in Las Vegas, Nevada; Helena, and Billings Montana before settling down in Havre. Molly was a cook for Andy's Supper Club, and Harold was a retired railroad worker. Harold and Molly lived a long and happy marriage of forty years when Harold passed away. Molly resided in their home for several years with their youngest daughter before going to live at the Northern Montana Care Center, which has been her home for the last six years.
Her parents, her husband Harold, seven brothers, three sisters, two sons and one grandson preceded her in death.
Survivors include her sons, Richard (Kathy) Nicholson of Havre and Leland (Nancy) Nicholson of Helena; daughters, Charlotte (Frank) Meyer of Kalispell and Cheryl Laufer of Whitefish; a sister in Burmington, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
Memorials in Mollie's honor may be made to the American Cancer Society, 550 North 31st St., Suite 103, Billings, MT 59101.
