LVIN FOX obituary

SUN CITY, Ariz. - Alvin Herschel Fox, 69, died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, in Sun City, Ariz.

A visitation for Al will be held Tuesday from 11 a.m. to noon at Heritage Funeral Chapel in Peoria, Ariz. A funeral service will immediately follow at noon.

Al was born on March 16, 1935, in Chinook to Gordon and Kathryn Fox.

Al was known as an outdoorsman. He loved hiking and was an avid golfer.

Al was a devoted employee at Safeway, retiring after many years as a meat cutter. After his retirement, Al worked as a "silver bullet" at Wells Fargo Bank in the processing division.

Al was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Fox and Kathryn Wright, and his sister, Rita Carver.

Survivors include his loving wife, Kay Fox of Peoria, Ariz., siblings; Wayne (Ruth Montgomery) Fox of Kalispell, Harve (Dee Fox) Fox of Arizona City, Ariz., Norma (Ben Morris) Morris of Butte; children; Wayne (Alice) Fox of Avondale, Ariz., David (Fina) Fox of Gilbert, Ariz., Kris (Wes) Garwood of Gilbert, Ariz., Scott (Vicki) Morrow of Peoria, Ariz., and Shannon (Mike) Schreiber of Phoenix, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; aunts, Esther Montgomery of Kalispell and Alice Fox of Billings; uncle, Harold Fox of Edgar, Neb.; half sisters, Darla Shanty of Coos Bay, Ore., and Leah Fox of Seeley Lake; half brother, Gordon Fox of Milton Freewater, Ore.; and various cousins, nieces, and nephews.
