Ella M. Morris, 88, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Northern Montana Care Center due to natural causes.
At her request, there will be no services. Cremation has taken place.
Ella was born on April 23, 1916, in Decatur, Ind., to Peter and Caroline (Waggman) Kenyon. She moved with her family to Missoula in 1917 and attended grade school there.
In 1942, she married William Muir in Wallace, Idaho, and they divorced in 1959. In 1975, she married Pat Morris in Olympia, Wash., and they divorced in 1980.
Ella worked in school kitchens in Washington and Montana for 22 years.
She enjoyed working on crafts, making needle baskets from long pine needles, sewing and crocheting. Ella always had beautiful gardens in her yard.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary (Bill) Saboe of Havre and Nancy Leigh of Moses Lake, Wash.; son, Bill (Lisa) Muir of El Center, Wash.; sister, Dorothy Macklin of Milwaukee, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.
Ella was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, four sisters and a daughter, Carolyn Burns.
Memorials may be sent to the Fifth Avenue Christian Church Kitchen Fund.
Arrangements are by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
