CEDAR PARK, Texas - James Russell Wilson, 36, died at his home in Cedar Park, Texas, Saturday, Oct. 2, 2004, after a year-long battle with colon cancer.
A service and reception were held on Oct. 6 at Hill Country Bible Church NW.
Jim was born on Oct. 27, 1967, in Kimpese, Congo. He lived most of his childhood in Havre.
Jim was a software engineer for JJT Boston Inc. He earned a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Montana State University in Bozeman.
Jim was an active member of Hill Country Bible Church NW, where he served in various ministries over the past four years and was active in a small group. He was intelligent, with a quick wit, honorable and strong. He was a loving and devoted husband.
Jim enjoyed computers, reading, music, movies and outdoor activities such as hiking, biking and camping. One of his favorite outdoor spots was Glacier National Park, where he worked some as a teen.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Wilson, and brother, Doug Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Terri Wilson; mother and stepfather, Joan and Harry Hayes of Tulsa, Okla.; brother, Randy (Renata) Wilson of Portland, Ore.; sisters, Dorijean Wilson of Ventura, Calif., and Theressa (Rodney) Wilborn of Tulsa, Okla.; two nieces; and a nephew.
