GILDFORD - Dolores Elaine Perry, 70, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004, after a long battle with cancer.
At Dolores's request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Private urn placement will take place at a later time.
Dolores was born on
Jan. 20, 1934, in Stillwater, Minn., to Milton (Mike) J. and Gertrude (Dorr) Sommers. She graduated from the College of Great Falls with a degree in education with a math major and taught high school math in Belfry for two years.
She married Richard R. Perry in April of 1958 in Great Falls. They moved to Choteau, where they resided for one year. Then they moved to Victor, where they purchased a ranch and Dolores taught school for 14 years. Later, the family moved to Opheim, where Dolores taught, until she retired from teaching in 1988. After she retired, the couple moved to Gildford.
Dolores was preceded in death by her daughter, Louise May (Perry) Siefert in November of 2003.
Survivors include her husband, Richard of Gildford; stepchildren, Fred Perry of Kalispell and Patricia (Jerry) Dowd of Victor; grandchildren, Sheila Kuhr and Jennifer Siefert of Havre, Janet Hawk of Ocean Springs, Miss., Suzanne Hawk of Hayden, Idaho, Jesse Perry of Kalispell; one great-grandson; sister, Shirley (Don) Stang of Brendar, Minn.; and a niece and nephew.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
