Francis Adeline Suttle, 73, died Friday, Sept. 10, 2004, at a Havre nursing home of cancer.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Northern Montana Care Center chapel with Ila McClenahan officiating. Interment of the ashes will be held
at the Acton Cemetery in Acton, Ind.
Adeline was born on July 28, 1931, in Horse Cave, Ky., to Johnnie Washington Jewell and Ida (Scott) Jewell. When she was 2, the family moved to Fairland, Ind. She attended school and graduated in 1949 from Fairland High School.
She married Sam Suttle on Dec. 24, 1949, in Franklin, Ky. After their marriage, the couple resided in Shelbyville, Ind., where they had a small farm. After Adeline's husband died on Feb. 25, 1997, she went to live with her daughter in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2003 she and her daughter, Karen Trimlbe, moved to Havre.
Adeline loved attending church and was a member of the Church of God in Anderson, Ind. She quilted, gardened, loved to collect things, and she loved to shop.
Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, two brothers and one daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Trimble (fiance Mark Schilling) of Havre; brother, Elmer (Jeri) Jewell of Shelbyville, Ind.; sister, Virginia Perry of Covington, Ind.; and three grandchildren.
