CHESTER SAVAGE obituary

WATER VALLEY, Miss. - Chester Eugene Savage, 72, died Thursday, Sept. 9, 2004, at Water Valley, Miss.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Seven Oaks Funeral Home Inc. in Water Valley with burial at Pine Flat Cemetery.

Chester was born on Sept. 3, 1932, at Water Valley to Paul Eugene and Addie Irene (Smith) Savage.

Chester was a retired self-employed mechanic. He was a member of Anchor Baptist Church in Lafayette County, Miss.

Chester was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Deborah Savage; and brothers, Wayne Savage and Buddy Savage.

Survivors include his daughters, Teresa Lawrence of Havre, Ann Marie Trumumchuck of Chicago, Ill., Brenda Garcia of Seattle, Wash., and Judy Savage of Texas; sons, Chester Eugene Janich of Chicago, Tenson Savage of Boise, Idaho, Paul Savage of Boise, Scott Savage of Texas; sisters, Lottie Horne of Oxford, Miss., Betty House of Water Valley, Jannie Miller of Bruce, Miss.; brothers, Harold Savage of Chicago, Jerry Savage of Water Valley and Hurb Savage of Water Valley.
