ROCKY BOY - Wanda Marie Martin, 72, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, Wash., from natural causes.
A wake and vigil service was held Thursday at 4 p.m. Her funeral services was set for 10 a.m. today at Rocky Boy's Our Savior Lutheran Church with the Rev.
Pete Guthneck officiating. Burial was to follow at the Russette Family Cemetery at Rocky Boy.
Wanda was born on Nov. 9, 1931, to Joseph Monteau and Helen (Champagne) Monteau Russette in Havre.
Wanda enjoyed crocheting, knitting, reading, growing plants, and artistic painting.
Wanda was preceded in death by Mike and Helen Russette; brothers, Raymond, Michael, Francis, Tiny, and Walter Russette; sisters, Thelma, Helen and Leota Russette.
Survivors include her sons, Byron Staples, Garrett Sinclair, Lance Sinclair, Douglas Gossard, Jeff Gossard, Jerry Gossard, Dale Martell and Joseph Martell; daughters, Renee Gossard, Rita Gossard, Ruth Gossard and Tina Gossard; brothers, James, Gene, Lester, Calvin and Duce Russette; sisters, Erma, Pauline, Madeliva and Loretta Russette; and numerous nephews, nieces, and grandchildren in Montana.
Arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
