CAMERON WORSTELL obituary

R. Cameron Worstell, 65, of Havre, an instructor and associate college professor, died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at a Billings hospital of natural causes.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Van Orsdel United Methodist Church with the Rev. VaunDalee Delong officiating. A luncheon will follow the service at the church.

Cremation will follow the service.

Cameron was born on Nov. 9, 1938, at Big Sandy to Richard A. and Wilda Ann (Augustine) Worstell. The family moved to Great Falls, where he attended school. He graduated from Great Falls High School in 1956. He then attended and graduated from Northern Montana College.

Cameron married Ruby M. Davey on April 3, 1959, in Havre. He served in the Montana Air National Guard.

Cameron taught at Montana State University-Northern from 1965 to 2004. He also worked as a Realtor and real estate broker with Witt and Loranger Realty and then with Witt Realty from 1971 to 2004. Early in his career, he worked for Herrig's machine shop, Modern Machine works, Valley Motor Supply Co. and Blair's Iron Works as a machinist and welder. He also owned Milk River Machine Shop from 1975-1992. He was an owner and manager of rental property from 1959 to the present.

Cameron's hobbies included performing magic shows, traveling in his RV and his membership in the Lions Club.

Cameron was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Worstell of Havre; daughters, Paula Beilke of Havre, Terri (Donni) Linn of Saco and Patti (Kerry) Culver of Moses Lake, Wash.; son, Dave (Jackie) Worstell of Billings; sister, Ann Jean (Cliff) Cloonan of Los Osos, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

Memorials in his honor may be made to Van Orsdel United Methodist Church, 410 Fifth Ave., Havre, MT 59501, Montana State University-Northern Foundation, P.O. Box 1691, Havre, MT 59501, or a charity of one's choice.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
