KATIE HOFER obituary

TURNER - Katie Hofer, 72, of Turner died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at a Great Falls hospital from complications of diabetes and heart disease.

She was born in Pincher Creek, Alberta, on June 7, 1932, and grew up there.

She married Peter Hofer at Grass Range in 1955. They moved to Turner in 1957, where she worked at the Turner Colony the rest of her life.

She found joy in loving her family, friends and her Lord. She enjoyed word-finding puzzles and knitting and led a great and peaceful life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Hofer; and sons, Peter Hofer and Fred Hofer.

Survivors include her daughters, Becky (Jake) Hofer of Standford and Mary Ann (Joe) Stahl of Roundup.
