Farnsworth was born in Wahpeton, N.D., on Nov. 18, 1901, to Lulu D. (Beers) and Will Allen Farnsworth. After graduating from high school, she attended Wahpeton State School of Science, where she earned a secretarial degree. She worked in the local drug store for several years.

In 1929, Donna traveled to Montana with a friend in a Model T Ford. She liked it so well that she decided to stay and made Montana her home for the rest of her life. Donna took a job at the Fort Belknap Agency and later worked for Mrs. F.A. Buttrey in women's fashions.

She met Gervan Yeon and they were married in Havre on Feb. 11, 1934.

Family was very important to Donna, and she enjoyed celebrating special occasions, especially her birthdays with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Donna was a lady and a generous and loving person. She enjoyed making homemade angel food cakes, chocolate fudge, and her famous doughnuts that everyone in the neighborhood enjoyed. Her hobbies include playing cards, especially bridge and solitaire, reading, trips to the Bear Paws and Glacier National Park. She was affectionately known as "Granny Go Go" by her grandchildren and as "Great Donna" by her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; husband, Gervan Yeon; and grandson, James G. Yeon.

Survivors include her daughter, Jean (Jim) Barsotti of Big Sandy; sons, Jim (Yolanda) Yeon and Charles Yeon, all of Havre; grandchildren, Renee (Art) Malisani, Jenee Yeon, Salvator Yeon, Kevin (Karrie) Barsotti, Charlys (Adrian) Doucette and Roger (Rosemary) Barsotti; and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorials in Donna's honor may be made to Bear Paw Hospice, 30 W. 13th St., Havre, MT 59501.
