JAZMYNE ZIEGLER obituary

GREAT FALLS - Jazmyne Mae Ziegler, 10, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, from injuries she suffered in a vehicle accident the evening before.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today at the St. Jude's Parish Center in Havre. A private family interment will be held at a later date.

Jazmyne was born on

June 15, 1994, to Terry S. and Stephanie L. (Kern) Ziegler in Havre. She attended Lincoln-McKinley School in Havre. She moved to Lewistown and then to Great Falls, where she had just completed her fourth-grade year at Sunnyside Elementary.

Jazmyne enjoyed roller skating, singing in the St. Jude's Church Choir and playing with her cousins and friends.

Jazmyne was preceded in death by her grandfather, John Ziegler in 2003; and two great-grandfathers, Herbert Ziegler and Leonard Flathers.

Survivors include her mother, Stephanie Ziegler (Steve Slater) of Great Falls; father, Terry Ziegler (Jacqueline Black) of Toledo, Ohio; sisters, Deziray Ziegler and Stevie Lee, both of Great Falls, and Molly Black of Toledo, Ohio; brother, Vincent Martin of Lewistown; aunts, Johnette Pettis of Heron, S.D., and Amber Taylor of Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; uncles, Trevor (Sabrina) Ziegler of Great Falls and John Kern Jr. of Havre; maternal grandparents, Terri and Al Shepard of Bay View, Idaho, and John Kern Sr. of Salem, Ore.; paternal grandmother, Sharon Ziegler of Havre; paternal great-grandparents, Odonna Ziegler (Mio Anderson) of Bagley, Minn., and Ann Flathers of Havre.

Memorials in Jazmyne's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Services are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
