Travis Allen Turner, 20, died Sunday, June 20, 2004, at a Havre hospital from injuries he suffered in a vehicle accident south of Havre.
His funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Assembly Of God Church with the Rev. Steve Flatau officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. Afellowship luncheon will be held at the church after the services at the graveside.Travis was born on Oct. 18, 1983, in Glasgow to Marvin Lee and Cheri Kaye (Lee) Turner. He was raised in Glasgow and moved to Havre when he was a young child. He attended Havre Public Schools. Travis' interests led him to work at North Star Dodge, Gusto Distributing, B&L Mechanics and for Ron Belcourt and Joe Christopher. He was currently working in construction. He enjoyed driving in derbies, riding motorcycles, fixing up cars and pickups, attending mud runs, and target practice. He received first place in the state for motorcycle racing and had received more than 30 trophies. He also enjoyed hanging out with friends talking about automobiles and motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kermit and Della Turner; and uncle, Keith Lee. Survivors include his parents, Marvin and Cheri Turner of Havre; brothers, Ryan Lee Turner and Justin Roland Turner, both of Havre; sister, Kimberly Ann Turner of Havre; niece, Kahlan Ann Turner of Havre; nephew, Brandon Roland Turner of Havre; maternal grandparents, John and Mona Lee of Havre; and numerous friends. Memorials in Travis's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice. Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
