SHELBY - Coreen M. Anderson, 64, of Shelby died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, at her home due to heart failure.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Whitted Funeral Chapel. Visitation is Friday from noon to 8 p.m. at the Whitted Chapel and from 8 a.m. Saturday until the service.
She was born on the family farm north of Harlem to Donald and Laura (Brekke) Malley, where she was raised and educated.
In 1956, she married Doyle Ashcraft at Butte. He died in 1960. In 1964, she married Donald Anderson, they later divorced.
Coreen went on to graduate from Shelby High School in 1973. She then attended college and became a licensed practical nurse in 1978.
She moved to Choteau and worked as a secretary for a plumbing company for a few years, before poor health forced her to retire. She then moved back to Shelby.
She enjoyed camping, fishing and crafts.
Coreen was proceeded in death by her father, Donald Malley; husband, Doyle Ashcraft; and grandson, Doyle Habets.
Survivors include her mother, Laura Malley of Havre; daughters, Diana (Doug) Habets of Shelby, Valerie (Clay) Stratton of Whitlash, and Jeanne (David) Parker of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Donald (Janet) Anderson of Tatonka, Wash.; sisters, Helen (Jerry) Shettel of Chester and Donna Keaster of Havre; brothers, Doug (Marcia) Malley of Sarasota, Fla., Swede (Linda) Malley and John (Lyn) Malley, both of Havre; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
