KATHERINE VITAGLIANO-HAIDER obituary

CHINOOK - Katherine Jean Vitagliano-Haider, 43, died on Thursday, April 29, 2004, at her home in Rock River, Wyo., from complications with a pregnancy.

A graveside service was held on May 10 at 11 a.m. in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery at Chinook.

Kathy was born on Aug. 10, 1960, in Mountain Home, Idaho, to

Joseph Haider and Jean Kennedy. Throughout her life, Kathy traveled to many places and saw many things. She loved to watch the sunsets at night, observe nature, visit the mountains and enjoyed the outdoors. Most of all, she loved her four children - Jessica, Rachel, Sarah and Jeremiah.

Kathy was always full of energy, very determined and usually very headstrong, that's what made her unique in a very special way. She was a very beautiful woman, both outside and inside, and a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was married to Bob Vitagliano, but the couple had been separated for many, many years. Kathy found her soul mate in John Brooks.

Survivors include her father and stepmother, Joseph and Sharon Haider of Chinook; mother and stepfather, Jean and Jerry Kennedy of South Dakota; daughters, Jessica, Rachel and Sarah; son, Jeremiah; two brothers, Dave (Linda) Haider and Mitch (Leann) Haider, all of Chinook; and sister, Shannon Moon of Chinook.
