CLARENCE FREY obituary

HARLEM - Clarence L. Frey, 65, long time Blaine County farmer and rancher died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 27, 2004, due to apparent heart failure. Clarence was doing what he loved when he died, operating his farm tractor in the field.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in the New Horizons Building, with a reception following at the Harlem V.F.W. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery at 3 p.m. in Havre.

Clarence was born on Aug. 14, 1938, in Havre to John and Amelia (Philippi) Frey. He was raised and attended school in the Kremlin area. He started working on farms in the Kremlin area and was a partner with his brother Floyd Frey in a farming-and-ranch operation east of Harlem and on the Fort Belknap Reservation for a number of years.

Clarence loved to be involved in farming and in his free time did some fishing. He was also very interest in reading and watching documentaries on the United States' war history. He enjoyed being with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

Survivors include his brothers, Ray Frey of Havre, Floyd Frey of Harlem and Dennis Frey of Simms; sisters, Doris Morse and Delores Tudor, both of Havre; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ed and Jack Frey; sisters, Nora Vosen and Loretta Clapper; and son, Adrian Montes.
