Delores Vivian Sohm, 69, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at a Havre care center after a long battle with cancer.
A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel with the funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, also at the Holland and Bonine
Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Pete Guthneck officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. A fellowship luncheon will be held at the VFW immediately after the services at the graveside.
Delores was born Sept. 30, 1934, in Havre to Floyd L. and Sarah Jane (Hickman) Watson. She was raised and educated in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1953. She worked for the phone company, Jack Oliver Insurance, and was the owner of the Pay & Pak and Taco Time.
She married Skip Woods in Havre. The couple had two children and later divorced. She then married Glenn Copeland and they had one child. Glen died in 1985. Delores retired in 1987 and on Dec. 27, 1987, Delores married "Red" Sohm.
Delores was a member of the VFW and Eagles Auxiliaries. She was an avid bowler, quilter and liked crafts. She had a passion for crocheting and her crocheted dolls were perfection. She enjoyed spending the winters in Arizona.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, and former husband Glenn Copeland.
Survivors include her husband, Duane "Red" Sohm of Havre; sons, David (Vicki) Woods of Missoula, Greg Copeland of Havre, Shawn (Teri) Copeland of Milwaukie, Ore .; stepsons, Gary Copeland of Hamilton, Daniel "Dann" (Diane) Copeland of Mill Creek, Wash., Kimm (Penny) Copeland of Victor; stepdaughters Nicki (Jody) Lindquist of Victor and Rebecca Copeland of Bend, Ore .; sister, Koni (Robert) Kellough of Valencia, Calif .; brothers, Duane (Sandra) Watson of Roseberg, Ore., and Larry Watson of Salem, Ore.
