RHONDA NORDGULEN obituary

HAVRE - Rhonda Jerle Nordgulen, 52, of Havre died Saturday, March 13, 2004, of an apparent heart problem at a Havre hospital.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Rowlie Hutton officiating.

Interment of the cremated remains will be at the Highland Cemetery following the memorial service. A fellowship reception will be held at the church following the committal rite.

Rhonda was born on June 14, 1951, to "Bud" and Rhoda (Dokken) Albertson in Havre. She grew up in Havre. She attended school in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1969.

She married Wayne Wood and they had one child. The couple later divorced. She then married Ray Griggs. They had one child.

On July 6, 1995, she married Marcus D. Nordgulen and had lived in Havre since. The couple had one son.

Rhonda enjoyed crafts, working on the computer, reading, and people. She also enjoyed '60s and '70s "hippie" music. She especially enjoyed cooking with friends and family around her. She was a generous and giving person, full of life, and ready to help when and where she could.

Rhonda is survived by her parents, "Bud" and Rhoda Albertson of Havre; husband, Marcus Nordgulen of Havre; son, Kieffer Nordgulen of Havre; daughters, Jennifer (Jason) Burket of New Jersey and Claudette (Paul) Doll of Kentucky; brothers Butch (Polly) Albertson of Havre and Brett (Julie) Albertson of Bozeman; sister, Mardy (Doug) Simonic of Havre; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
