JENS BRAATEN obituary

Jens "JC" Braaten, 90, died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2004, at a Havre hospital of natural causes.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the First Lutheran Church in Havre with the Rev. Brad Ulgenes officiating. There will be a graveside service

at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Round Prairie Cemetery in North Dakota.

Jens was born on Nov. 2, 1913, in Mondak to John and Regina (Dahl) Braaten. He was educated at various grade schools including Bonetrail, Peerless, and Upham, N.D. He attended school until the eighth grade. After losing his parents at an early age, Jens was involved in many jobs t...
