ETHEL LUND obituary

KALISPELL - Ethel B. Lund, 82, died while surrounded by family on Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at a Kalispell home.

Cremation has taken place at Buffalo Hills Crematory, Kalispell. A memorial service will be held at Saint Matthews in Kalispell on Wednesday. Graveside services will be held in Havre in the spring.

Ethel was born on June 26, 1921, to Celestine (Polly) and Norris Boice in South Shore, S.D. She was born in her grandfather's house and named after her grandmother.

Arnold Lund and Ethel were married on June 12, 1946. They had five children: Jeanne Thomason of Aurora, Colo., Sharon Wood of Bigfork, Allan Lund (deceased), Larry and Stanley Lund of Havre.

Ethel Lund loved life and family. She won many prizes at the Hill County Fair for her baking and canning.

Survivors include her husband, Arnold Lund; sisters, Margie (Neal) Coulter of Charlo and Marion (Chuck) D'Arcy of Helena; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorials will be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
