Dale Lewis Constable, 65, died Christmas Day at his winter home in Lake Medina, Texas.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fifth Avenue Christian Church.
Constable was born on Dec. 5, 1938, in Pasadena, Calif. At a young age, Dale moved with his parents to Nampa, Idaho, where he attended school.
While working as a juvenile parole agent in California, Dale met his wife of 28 years, Marcia Divish. They retired in 1988 and moved to Kalispell where they operated a bed and breakfast.
Recently, they moved to Havre to be closer to family. During his time in Havre, Dale worked part time at the Tropical Stop pet store. He was also very active in the Fifth Avenue Christian Church and helped in its building. Dale was also an active member in the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father as well as a son, Dale Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia; daughters, Deanna Constable of San Francisco, Vonda Thomas of Havre and Heather Douglass of Salt Lake City; sister, Virginia Smithline; brother, Donald Constable; grandchildren, Justin Beauchamp and Alexis Eierdam; longtime friends, Stan Jorgenson, Mickey Wright and Mary Lou Price; and his dog, Bobby.
