LUETTA ROCK obituary

FORT BELKNAP - Luetta Irene (Van Hollan) Rock, 60, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2003, at a Havre hospital due to a lengthy illness and heart complications.

A wake service was held Friday evening in Red Whip Center at Fort Belknap Agency. A funeral service was scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday in Red Whip Center at Fort Belknap Agency. Burial was to follow at Pony Hill Cemetery.

Luetta was born to Laura Irene (Sanquins) Rudie and the late Everett Van Hollan on July 30, 1943, in Havre.

Luetta was a trained practical nurse and was employed by the Sacred Heart Hospital and Northern Montana Hospital, both of Havre until the birth of her son, Neil.

She enjoyed her family, baking, cooking, and powwows.

She is survived by her husband, Harris of Fort Belknap; son, Neil of Fort Belknap; mother, Laura of Kalispell; sister, Bonnie Liebig of Marion; adopted stepchildren, Julia Doney of Fort Belknap, Victoria "Vikki" Johnson of Fort Belknap, Donna Rock Hay of Rocky Boy, Gaile Rock Torres of Rocky Boy, Harris K. Rock of Great Falls, Kellie Rock of Great Falls, Leslie Rock of Rocky Boy, Deanna Rock Boadle of Stockett, Avis Rock Houle of Rocky Boy and Roger Rock of Great Falls.

Arrangements were by Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.
