ROLLAND GOLIE obituary

OWATONNA, Minn. - Rolland "Ron" Henry Golie, 70, of Owatonna, Minn., died Friday, Nov. 14, 2003, at his home after a long struggle with emphysema.

Visitation will be held at Michaelson Funeral Home on Monday from noon to 1p,m. A funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Michaelson Funeral

Home in Owatonna with the Rev. Steven Anderson of Bethel Baptist officiating. A luncheon will be held immediately after the service.

He was born on June 25, 1933, in Great Falls to Carl and Emma (Jess) Golie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Golie; mother, Emma Jess; and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Coleen (Johnson) Golie of Owatonna, Minn.; daughters, Vicky (Robin) Elliott, Rachel (Scott) Ulrich of Owatonna; sons, Douglas Golie of Eau Claire, Wis., Daniel Golie of Seymour, Wis., Lawrence (Alecia) Golie of Missoula and Rick (Lynn) Golie of Charlotte, N.C.; brothers, Robert (Joyce) Golie of Helena and Ed (Annetta) Golie of Great River, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
