HARDIN - Todd Heppner, 39, of Hardin died of injuries sustained in a one-car rollover accident Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2003, west of Hardin.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday in the Bullis Funeral Chapel in Hardin. Cremation will follow the services. Private inurnment is planned at a later date.
He was born on May 26, 1964, in Pocatello, Idaho, to Robert and Shirley Moen Heppner. He grew up in Idaho and received his early education there. He later attended and graduated from MSU-Billings Vo-Tec Center as a licensed practical nurse.
He was well known for his care-giving abilities to the young and old alike, traits that were often displayed while he worked in the Billings and Hardin hospitals and nursing homes.
Todd was married to Kathy Reece and the couple made their home in Hardin.
He was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool. He was often referred to as a sports fanatic when it came to his favorite Seahawk or Mariner team members. In his spare time, he was a gourmet cook.
He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents and maternal grandmother.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy of Hardin; parents, Robert and Shirley Moen Heppner of Box Elder; brother, David (Sherri) Heppner of Box Elder; sister, Diann (Martin) Lund of Washington; grandfather, Hans Moen of Washington; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Bullis Mortuary of Hardin has been entrusted with the arrangements.
