Jon Herbert Ziegler, 56, of Havre died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, west of Havre.
Cremation has taken place and a gathering of family and friends will be held at 6 p.m. Monday at the St. Jude Parish Center. Anyone who would like to stop by and say goodbye
to Jon or to extend sympathies to the family is invited.
Jon was born July 17, 1946, in Bagley, Minn., to Herbert John and Odonna Mae (Walker) Ziegler.
Jon married Sharon Flathers on May 10, 1969, in Havre. He enlisted in the National Guard in Havre and serving six years before he was honorably discharged.
Jon worked for Big Bud and Blair Iron Works and had worked at Central Machine Shop for the last 25 years.
Jon enjoyed the outdoors, had many pets, and liked to drive around and see what was going on in town.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father, Herbert John Ziegler.
Jon is survived by his wife, Sharon of Havre; sons, Terry (Jacque Black) Ziegler of Havre and Trever (Sabrina) Ziegler of Great Falls; mother, Odonna Mae (Milo Anderson) Ziegler of Bagley, Minn.; sister, Connie (Mark) Kelly of Havre; niece Kimberly Hoy of Grizzly Flats, Calif.; five grandchildren; and his dog, Shadow.
Memorials in Jon's honor may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Services and arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
