William P. Wagner, 77, of Havre, who was a parts manager at Eaves Equipment and Big Bud/Meissner Tractor, died May 15, 2003, at a Havre hospital.
A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday at the St. Jude's Catholic Church, with graveside services to follow at the Highland Cemetery.
William was born in Carrington,
N.D., to William P. Wagner and Ethel Mathews on Sept. 19, 1925. He graduated from Dakota Business College in Fargo, N.D.
William married Irene Sondag on Sept. 25, 1950, in Sykeston, N.D. In 1954, they moved to Havre, where he was employed by Eaves Equipment.
William loved his life and work. In his retirement, he was dedicated to his family and grandchildren. His favorite pastimes were spending time working in his woodshop and playing games with his grandchildren, especially cribbage. He will be dearly missed.
William was preceded in death by his parents; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; sons, Ken (Pearl) Wagner and Dan (Mary) Wagner, both of Havre, Jerry Wagner of Bozeman; daughter, Catherine Wagner of Havre; brother, Robert Wagner of Carrington, N.D.; grandchildren, Brad, Lisa, Julie, Gary, Billy, Dani and Billy, all of Havre.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Jude's Parish Center or to a donor's choice.
