SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Kari Ann Thurman, 41, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, in Sacramento, Calif., due to a massive stroke.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Holland and Bonine Funeral Chapel in Havre, with the Rev. Zoe Coutts officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
Kari was born March 8, 1962, in Madera,
Calif. She
moved to Cut Bank at
an early age and attended schools there. She then moved to Havre with her family and attended Lanae's College of
Beauty and graduated in cosmetology. She also attended MSU-Northern. She was employed by Kmart in Havre for several years and worked as a waitress and in retail in Sacramento.
Kari enjoyed cross-stitch, computers, music and had a special love for cats.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Thurman, and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
Kari is survived by her parents, Cal and Kay Loudermilk, of Havre; sisters, Shannon (Stan) Martin and Jodie Thurman of Havre, Stacy Griessmer of Great Falls, Celeste Thurman-Lee of Stockton, Calif., Angela Bermurdez of Visalia, Calif., and Simcha Johnson of Tulare, Calif.; companion, Bob LaFrenier, and his children, Nicholette and Gene, all of Sacramento, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the direction of Holland and Bonine Funeral Home.
